Dr. Maryam Mannaa has been with Synergy University Dubai since October 2022.

Dr. Maryam is a distinguished academic, who earned both her Master's and PhD degrees in Hospitality and Tourism from Alexandria University, a leading public institution in Egypt, with her doctoral degree conferred in 2009. Over the past decade, she has cultivated extensive professional experience through her teaching roles at universities across the UAE, engaging with a diverse international academic community.

In addition to her teaching expertise, Dr. Maryam has made significant contributions to academic advising, research, quality assurance, and accreditation, and is a Certified Reviewer for the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) in the United Arab Emirates. Her prolific research output includes publications in renowned SJR, SCOPUS, and ABDC-indexed journals, such as Current Issues in Tourism and Tourism Management Perspectives. Dr. Maryam is also an active participant in the scholarly community, frequently presenting at both local and international conferences and seminars.
